The world, watching Christmas movies together is a tradition. However, choosing what family to watch is always difficult. There are always different wishes and it is quite hard to please every single person. Our recommendation is to basically go for different movies so that you can be sure that everyone has a great time.
Christmas is all about the movies; obviously Christmas cheer comes into it, but you can’t beat snuggling up with your family or friends and watching a classic Christmas movie. Here we take you through the hits and remind you of some forgotten Christmas movie gems.
Home Alone
Even though Home Alone didn’t turn out to be the greatest thing to happen to Macaulay Culkin, we feel rather fond of this classic Christmas hit. For those who haven’t yet watched it (where have you been though?) here’s a quick summary.
The Snowman
The Snowman is a magical and simplistic movie that is a firm favourite on this best Christmas movies list. The animated movie is a great family hit, not only because of the stunning pictures and the magical world in which the story takes place.
National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
one of the best Christmas movies of all time, it is one of the greatest comedies of all time! Every family can relate to the Griswold's and this is sure to bring a lot of laughter on movie night.
The Santa Clause
Tim Allen becomes Santa Clause in this 1994 hit. Him and his son fight the unbelievers and successfully deliver presents to all the children around the world.
Die Hard
This is definitely the movie that is surprising in our Christmas movies top for cannot deny that it is a classic and that so many people want to watch it. This is the movie that made Bruce Willis famous, even though it appeared in 1988. The reason why it is recommended is that it is set in LA during Christmas.
