Health Benefits of Noni Juice

Noni Juice is obtained from the fruit of an evergreen plant known as noni. Also, referred to as Indian mulberry, noni is normally grown in tropics and subtropical regions. Due to its unique natural healing characteristics, noni has been under lot of speculation in recent times. It has an impressive range of phytonutrients, minerals and vitamins. Due to its intriguing therapeutic potential, it has been widely used in alternative medicine. There are several health benefits which are associated with Noni juice.

Depression

Morinda contains antidepressant compounds in the form of two sugars, inulin and nystose, as well as succinic acid, a compound created from simple sugars. Morinda also contains xeronine, which brings about a feeling of well-being by opening brain receptor sites to receive more endorphin hormone.

Lowers Cholesterol

Dyslipidemia is characterized by elevated levels of blood cholesterol resulting in an increase in the risk of developing cardiovascular disease. Research has proved that the water and ethanol based extracts of noni fruit reduces cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Rejuvenates Skin

Noni is a great additional to your skin and hair care regime when applied and also take internally. None increases the production of collagen which is the foundation upon which skin sits. This is my most frequent use of noni, on my skin and in my hair. It makes my hair feel incredibly soft and my skin super smooth. This would be amazing used  in conjunction with a plant-based skin exfoliant.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

There is promising evidence that morinda helps reduce inflammatory conditions while strengthening bones and ligaments. People with rheumatoid arthritis report relief from pain and swelling as well as an increase in mobility.

Menstrual Problems

Traditional Chinese medicine has prescribed Morinda for centuries to treat irregular menstrual cycles in women, especially when accompanied by pain in the lower back or pelvic area.

Improves Liver Health

Noni helps protect the liver when it is exposed to chemicals and also prevents liver cell damage. Noni can also help restore the liver back to health due to its anti-inflammatory properties.
