Best Easter Games & Activities For Kids

If you're lucky enough to have a gang of kids around on Easter Games, you'll need something more than an Easter egg hunt to keep them occupied. Here are some great ideas for Easter egg games. If you're short on kids, you can borrow a few from the neighbors, because these games attract children almost as surely as the music from the ice cream truck.

The children off as the timer starts traditionally you may just have them searching and whoever brings back the most eggs wins a prize (A large Easter egg). Alternatively, plot out eggs for each child to find, leaving a clue at each egg to find the next one. Once everyone has found their eggs, there is a golden egg hidden somewhere no one will look let them all search for this one with no clues whoever finds this egg wins an extra Easter Games surprise.

Limbo

Make a limbo bar from an old broom handle or similar long stick. Start with the stick high and have the children line up and limbo underneath the bar as music plays in the background. Lower the limbo bar after each round. If a player touches the bar above or the grass below (or falls!), that child is out of the game. The last player remaining wins a chocolate or stuffed Easter bunny.

Easter word find

This is a great game for early readers and older kids. Pick a few Easter Game-related words such as: chocolate, rabbit, spring, daffodil and holiday, then try and find as many words as possible in two minutes. For example Easter contains the following words: eat, tea, star, steer, rest, tree, ease See how many words you can find.

Easter piñata

Pick up a pre-made piñata from the store or make your own and fill it with Easter Activiti for candy and small toys. Line up the children and let each one take a turn hitting the piñata with a broom handle. If the kids are older, blindfold them before they take a swing at the piñata. Be sure all little ones are safely out of hitting range. When the piñata breaks, kids can scoop up the candy and prizes. Be certain that every child gets some of the loot.

Easter parade

It’s the one weekend of the year where you have an excuse to don a funny hat. Get the whole family involved in an Easter parade. You can make your own Easter Activiti for bonnets from scratch or just embellish and decorate a hat with egg-related accessories. Older kids could try hanging mini chicks on string and tape onto a sunhat for an Outback influenced Easter hat, or stick cut-out rabbit ears on to a baseball hat. Award prizes for the best hats.

Jellybean hunt

Hide jellybeans all over your home and then set the kids loose with baskets. Make sure some are easy to find for younger kids, and some are in more challenging places for older kids. Be warned that you could be finding jellybeans in interesting places for weeks to come.
